This section will guide you through the events management module.

oUsing a subscription ensures you contact only those who want to be contacted.
•Numbers - Maximum number of guests
oLeaving this blank will allow all invitees to RSVP to the event.
oTo limit the number of people at the event, enter the maximum number of people that can be accommodated.
oWhen the number of persons registered reaches the limit, DevMan will block further registrations. Anyone attempting to RSVP will receive the message: "This event is full. Would you like to be added to a waiting list?"
oIf you wish, additional guests can be added manually after the event is full.
oIf you have an event manager, select them here.
•Dates - RSVP Expiry date
oThis is the date that you wish to close the invitation.
oAfter this date, invitees will not be able to RSVP, and they will receive the message: "This event is closed. Would you like to be added to a waiting list?"
oUse this drop-down menu to select the type of event.
oAdd different types of events under Initiatives > Events > Settings > Flags > Type.
oAdd your own branding that will be displayed on the RSVP page for the event.
oTo add your template, go to Communication > Communication Templates > Stationery then select Add. Make sure that the template mode is set to Web. (See Communication > Mailshots)

oRegister guests, track attendance, send welcome messages and update contact details on the spot using DevManGo mobile.
Select Development / Initiatives > Events > Add new event to enter your new event details.
Select Save and stay on page and enter the rest of the event information.
Select Development / Initiatives > Events.
To find an existing event:
•Use inline search.
•Use the Search module to look for an existing event.
•Select Initiatives > Events > View events to go to the grid view. All events that are In progress will be displayed.
•To see all events, select (All) in the Event status drop-down.
Once you have saved your event details, you can add invitees, either individually or in bulk.
On the Event profile page, click on Invitees, and then select:
•Add an invitee to add a single guest, or
•Add a group of invitees to add a group of individuals or an entire target group from your database.
